Chiefs vs Bidvest Wits

JOHANNESBURG – FOLLOWING Orlando Pirates’ demise against Pietermaritzburg United on Tuesday night, another Soweto giant Kaizer Chiefs, will be looking to avoid such a slip ahead of this weekend’s sold-out Soweto Derby.

Stadium in Braamfontein in a less glamorous Gauteng Derby on Wednesday

However, the main encounter tonight will be the Pretoria derby pitting
Mamelodi Sundowns and Supersport United at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Mamelodi Sundowns are seventh while their city rivals SuperSport United
are tenth.

Elsewhere, Free State Stars host Bloemfontein Celtic in a Free State Derby
at Charles Mopeli Stadium while Moroka Swallows entertain Ajax Cape Town at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto with Polokwane City hosting Platinum Stars at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

The final encounter of the evening on Wednesday pits fifth placed Chippa
United against 9th positioned Black Aces at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in
Port Elizabeth.

Last evening Pirates fell 2-1 to visiting Maritzburg at FNB Stadium, venue
of the Soweto derby set for Saturday.

Amazulu netted their first win of the season, a 2-1 success over University of Pretoria.
