JOHANNESBURG – TATTOOS have cost three Miss South African contestants chances of snatching the highly contested glittering thrones.

The trio Kelly Davids, Altina Vries of the Western Cape and Aseza Matanzima of the Eastern Cape were chucked out of the cat-walk race on Tuesday following the discovery of green and red inscriptions on their bodies.

The rejects have since been replaced by the uncontaminated new entrants Kirsten Hornby (24) of Roodepoort, Ntsiki Mkhize (23) of Kliprivier and Tegan Goldman (22), whose bodies are undented by tatoos.

The Miss South Africa contest is scheduled for March next year. More than 25 lasses are billed to mesmirise a lustful audience as their strut -out their stuff.

The excited late entrants Mkhize and Goldman who took part in the contest before expressed their pleasure to be part of the glamorous event again.

The Top ten girls will be announced next February and finals will be staged on 27 March.
