Lindiwe Rakharebe, Absa Regional Executive for KwaZulu-Natal, said the Newcastle Main Branch was prioritised to undergo a facelift as the bank delivered on our commitment of putting the customer at the heart of everything it did.

“The upgrading of our branch network is supported by the development of new

“We are grateful to our customers and clients who waited patiently during the branch transformation and for using our Newcastle Mall branch in the interim.”

The bank has made a significant investment in digital services and capabilities including upgrading its branch network, whereby processes are more efficient and improving customer experience.
