Sponsors sign up for 2015 IT Leaders Africa Summit

CAPE TOWN – PREPARATIONS for South Africa’s prime information technology summit received a major boost after major sponsors reaffirmed their support for the event.

After a successful summit in 2014, Airwatch and Kofax are returning to IT Leaders Africa 2015 as Silver Providers for the second consecutive year.

Airwatch and Kofax among other providers, are sending a team of experts to present 60 minute workshops to attendees over the two-day event.

Featured speakers for 2015 include CIOs from across industries such as, Sihle Mthiyane, Head of IT for Thales SA, Sal Laher, CIO and Divisional Executive for Eskom and Antony Hlungwane the CTO for Group IT at Hollard Group Services.

Laher will present a keynote on “The disruptive forces reshaping the role of the CIO” and will highlight the digitalisation of business models that are challenging the way CIOs plan IT for their organisations.

Hlungwane will also take the stand to deliver a keynote on “Designing the people-centric business.”

He will expand on the need fo rbusiness to be built on a foundation of people-centric collaboration and will focus on the new social and mobile collaboration tools that connect people inside and outside the enterprise.

Bringing insight from abroad, Tunde Coker the MD of Rack Centre (a Jagal Group Company) will speak on sustaining African IT innovation and Core IT infrastructure advances in Sub Sahara Africa.

Tunde has a wealth of IT experience and now heads up one of the largest data centres in Nigeria.

The IT Leaders Africa Summit will be held on March 8-19 March next year in Johannesburg.
