Durban hosts top African soccer forum

DURBAN – LEADING decision makers in African football will next week converge in Durban, South Africa for the Soccerex Africa Forum.
The event will be held at the renowned Moses Mabhida Stadium on November 4 and 5.
Some of Africa’s leading brands have confirmed their participation on a panel titled ‘The Benefits of Sponsoring the African Game’ that will be taking place at this year’s forum.
Officials from a selection of African sport’s key sponsors consisting of regional and global brands Nedbank SAB Miller and Sasol will be discussing the opportunities that are offered to them as a result of their association with the game and the benefits that are attached to being a sponsor of sport throughout the continent.
Soccerex Chief Executive Officer, Duncan Revie commented: “Given the rise in football across the continent and the development of both men’s and women’s football, this discussion will offer some groundbreaking insight into the commercial opportunities arising across the continent.
