SAP revels at latest mobile management award

JOHANNESBURG – SYSTEM Applications Products (SAP), the global enterprise software firm, announced it had been named a leader for enterprise mobile management.
Industry analyst firms Forrester Research, Inc. and IDC, conferred the accolade in their recently published reports with the SAP® Mobile Secure portfolio achieving a Leader position in both Forrester’s EMM Wave and the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Enterprise Mobility Management Software 2014 Vendor Assessment.
According to the IDC MarketScape report, “SAP is able to provide customers with a lifecycle approach to mobile management by offering a platform on which to build and deploy mobile applications, as well as the technology to manage and secure those applications over their lifespan.”
In The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Mobile Management, Q3 2014, the Leaders are qualified as vendors that “balance OS, application, and data management functionality while providing flexible container options and productivity applications. [And] have also demonstrated a strong vision and road map to help customers as they bring their PC and mobile management strategies together.”
SAP believes that these recognitions demonstrate its continued innovation in the mobile enterprise and security management software market.
