Ghana nabs Nigeria, Tunisia men with fake forex

ACCRA – GHANA’S Criminal Investigations Department (CID) are investing a Nigerian and his Tunisian counterpart after they were allegedly found in possession of fake $100 notes equivalent to GH300 million.

The duo, Adekonle Morufden (52), the Nigerian with his Tunisia accomplice Mohammed Basim (35) were arrested at at Achimota Mile Seven in Accra.

The two accused men are said to have attempted to bribe the police upon being arrested for carrying trunkful of the money but the police officers vehemently rejected the accused the offer.
