Absa Premiership returns with a bang

JOHANNESBURG – THE Absa Premiership will resume with a full set of matches this weekend following a two-week break owing to the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches played across the continent.
The highlight of the round of matches will be the Orlando Pirates versus Bidvest Wits clash at Orlando Stadium.
The Johannesburg Derby kicks off at 2015hours.
Both teams have of late struck rich vein of form with Prates are lying fifth on the log table while Bidvest Wits sit on third.
It will be folly therefore for Pirates to boast their MTN 8 final qualification and underestimate the Clever Boys.

In KwaZulu Natal, Maritzburg United are entertain unpredictable Mpumalanga Black Aces at Harry Gwala Stadium in Maritzburg.
Embattled SuperSport United will lock horns with Platinum Stars at Lucas Moripe Stadium while Polokwane City host AmaZulu at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Both matches for kick-off at 1800 while the Ajax Cape Town and Free State Stars encounter kicks-off at 2015.
Two matches are lined up for Sunday.
Moroka Swallows play Chippa United at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto while Bloemfontein Celtic host defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
