ABUJA – TROOPS in the North East have killed more than 50 terrorists planning to attack Konduga in Borno State.

This was confirmed in a stamen issued by the Defense Headquarters.

“Over 50 terrorists died this afternoon as troops raided their hideout in Kawuri before setting out on a planned attack on Konduga,” the Defense stated.

According to the statement, an assorted ammunition was recovered from the terrorists hideout.

“One fabricated artillery Gun, two anti – aircraft gun, an armoured vehicle and assorted types of ammunition were captured in the process.”

“Some hardware, weapons, food items and personal belongings were also destroyed in the Kawuri Raid.”

One officer and two soldiers were seriously wounded in the operation.
