JOHANNESBURG – MICROSOFT’S flagship Lumia 930 smartphone is
now available in South Africa.

The new high-end gadget comes a few months after its unveiling at
Microsoft’s Build 2014 conference.

Nestled within an elegant aluminium frame, polycarbonate back and
sculpted glass, the Lumia 930 features a 20-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics and optical image stabilisation (OIS) to give you a flawless
video and imaging experience.

Powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, the Lumia 930 captures and plays back high-quality audio in Dolby Surround Sound.

The 5-inch Gorilla Glass 3, full HD OLED screen is easy to view indoors or
out, according to Microsoft.

The Lumia 930 contains a 2,420 mAh battery that will last more than a day,
even while shooting with Nokia Camera, now with Living Images feature.

The device also comes with built-in wireless charging, that can be used with
Microsoft’s wide range of wireless charging accessories.

The Lumia 930 is available in South Africa, in black and white, on
contracts starting at R399 per month.
