JOHANNESBURG – IN-FORM Kaizer Chiefs would be eager to maintain their imperious form when the Absa Premiership resumes on Tuesday.

The Soweto outfit are up against fellow fan favourites Bloemfontein Celtic at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Chiefs warmed up for the match with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Platinum Stars in the MTN 8 and have a 100 percent record in the league after two rounds of matches.

On the other hand, Celtic have drawn both encounters and are out of the MTN 8.

In another Premiership encounter lined up for Tuesday, Polokwane City host unpredictable Ajax Cape Town.

Both matches kick off at 1930.

Elsewhere across the country, on Wednesday Free State Stars are up against SuperSport United while newly transformed Orlando Pirates entertain AmaZulu at Orlando Stadium.

Log-leaders Moroka Swallows host Mamelodi Sundowns at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto. The match is tipped to be the main attraction of the midweek fixtures.

Defending champions Sundowns only managed a point in two Premiership outings while Swallows, earlier touted as relegation candidates, have a 100 percent record in their two Premiership outings.

Other matches for Wednesday includes Bidvest Wits against Maritzburg United in Braamfontein while Mpumalanga Black Aces host Platinum Stars at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.

Newboys Chippa United entertain University of Pretoria in Port Elizabeth.
