PRETORIA – SOUTH African Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa, will on Saturday participate at the inauguration ceremony of Mauritania president-elect, Mahomed Ould Abdel Aziz.

Ramaphosa is set to leave the country for Mauritania on Friday where he will represent President Jacob Zuma.

Spokesperson for the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Clayson Monyela, confirmed Ramaphosa would attend the installation at the Mauritanian capital.

“The inauguration ceremony is the culmination of the 21 June 2014 elections that saw the incumbent President re-elected for a second term with more that 80 percent majority vote,” he said.
