JOHANNESBURG – SOUTH Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has called upon the nation to boycott Woolworths products following their alleged link with Israel.

EFF commander-in-chief, Julius Malema told thousands of supporters during the party’s one-year anniversary at Thokoza Park in Soweto on Saturday arguing that the world would never be at peace when Palestine was still under Israeli “bondage”.

“We must take a stand, those of us who can afford to buy from Woolworths to say we are no longer buying,” Malema said to the applause of supporters.

The EFF annivery celebration was attended by all races, colours and tribes, whose black majority, mainly workers, the unemployed and students strongly believe the party represented their interests in parliament.

He said the EFF was the only political party in the country that has called for the Palestine’s liberation as well as pushing for the expulsion of Israel ambassador to South Africa following its country’s bombardment of Palestine.

To date, more than 800 people, mainly children, women and elderly people were killed in cold blod by Israeli military in Gaza.

“The people who fight with the people of Palestine in South Africa is the EFF. We are the only organisation that said the ambassador of Israel must leave the country,” Malema said.
