Airtel Ghana invests $100m in network expansion

ACCRA – AIRTEL Ghana is investing an amount of $100 million (GHC 200 million) in a nationwide network expansion as part of plans to offer exceptional data services .

Out of the amount GHC 150 million is being spent on expanding the company’s data footprints.

Marketing Director of Airtel Ghana, Manu Rajan disclosed this at the launch of a new data campaign dubbed “Browse Chaw”.

the new service allows Airtel customers browse , do video calls ,stream and download at an exciting speed at affordable rates.

“Browse Chaw is what you can do with Airtel Internet-browse , stream and download at exiting speeds whereever you go, whenever , at extremely affordable rates” Manu Rajan noted.

He disclosed that over the years, Airtel had spearheaded the introduction of customer centered data services which have revolutionalised how people use data in Ghana.

“we allow our customers to manage their main data accounts , top-up easily , manage their Value Added Services (VAS) subscriptions and also contact customer care.

“This app , which is a first from Airtel , has changed the meaning of Customer Care in Ghana”. he said.
