PSL announces MTN8 draw

JOHANNESBURG – THE eagerly awaited MTN8 kicks-off on Friday, 1st August with Bidvest Wits Football Club hosting Bloemfontein Celtic in Johannesburg.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) made the announcement on Wednesday at their head office.

Other matches lined-up pit Orlando Pirates against SuperSport United on Saturday, 2nd August at Orlando Stadium with premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns hosting Platinum Stars at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

The following day, Sunday, former premiership champions Kaizer Chiefs will host Black Aces at the FNB Stadium to round up the MTN8 tournament.

The MTN8, reserved exclusively for the top eight league finishers from last season, gets underway a week before the first round of Premiership action.

Platinum Stars are the defending champions after beating Pirates 3-1 on penalties and the North West based soccer outfit looks forward defending the title.
